Starkville's Stellars

So here we are, three weeks into May; meaning that this blog is three weeks old!  I thought it'd be a great way to celebrate would be to announce two new features that we've added last week and will be appearing regularly right here, in the Starkville Area Arts Council's Blog.  So you might want to add the page to your blog~roll or feed~alerts.  Just sayin'.

One feature is the Starkville's Stellar Kids column.  A few days back, Lily Adam was named the first Starkville's Stellar Kid, with her fantastic accomplishment of designing the poster that was chosen for this year's Saris Parking ad campaign.  This was not just for the school, which would have been cool.  And not just for the state, which would have been impressive.  This was for the NATIONAL pick.  And that is Stellar.

We want to feature not just our own SAAC sponsored events, but also include coverage of other artistic efforts in our area here in this blog.  Starkville's Stellar Kids are creative and we think it's worth noticing their shining examples.  So kudos to you, Lily!
