FUNDRAISING EVENTS

FORKS & CORKS

DATE: MARCH 12, 2022
Picture
This annual fundraiser showcases the culinary arts in a casual, festive environment. The past two years have approached maximum capacity, drawing attendees from across the state. Every August, local chefs compete head-to-head as attendees partake of their culinary creations. Fall 2019 provided the opportunity to highlight winners from our CDFA2019 Singer/Songwriter Competition, as well as a silent art auction and sale of ceramics donated by the ceramics faculty at the MSU Department of Arts. This event raised approximately $10,000 for art and art education programs in Oktibbeha County.

For more information, visit the Forks & Corks page.

Each summer, SAAC hosts its Annual Drive & Meeting to report to the public on past activities, while also connecting with existing and recruiting new donors. In 2021, we held our  drive at a potential permanent space for SAAC, where we re-elected returning board members and added two new members, and shared plans for the year ahead.
