Bonnie Brumley

Brumley is a ceramic artist currently living and working in Starkville, MS. Growing up in Laurel, MS, she frequented the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art where her first experiences with clay were through a few hand-building classes during her adolescence. There was an instant attraction to the material, and she continued on to graduate in 2015 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Emphasis in Ceramics. Her work is inspired by nature, textures from found objects, and simple forms with delicate details.

Austin McGrath

Austin McGrath is a Philosophy lecturer at MSU and paints in his spare time. "Austin paints sometimes because he thinks he should. Sometimes he thinks he (or someone!) will enjoy looking at the painting. Sometimes he paints to see how good he can make the painting look. Sometimes he paints to distract himself with what seems to him to be a healthy hobby. Sometimes he paints because he thinks it's good to do good things he's good at. Sometimes he painted because he liked the idea of being an artist. Sometimes he painted because he thought the painting would turn out nice, or wanted to see what it would look like. Sometimes he paints to capture the moment in his paint. Sometimes he paints for all or some of these reasons!"
