Scholarships: Summer & College Art

Part of what we do is grant scholarships to individuals and groups in our community.  This allows others to pursue their creative goals, helping them along the way to bigger and better things.  A scholarship doesn't just affect that one person, but touches so many lives at once and continues to do so in everlasting ripples.

With this in mind, we announce our annual Summer Scholarships and College Arts Scholarships.  The applications are on~line and are due April 15th.  These two types of scholarships have helped many of our young adults go on to college, build their portfolios, and broaden their horizons.

The Summer Scholarships are available for area youth between the ages of ten and 18 years old, who are not yet attending college, and are accepted to advanced training in the arts during the summer months.  This can be for private instruction, group lessons, workshops, conferences, competition fees, summer camp, etc.  The complete information sheet and application can be found here.

The College Arts Scholarships are for graduating seniors within Oktibbeha County {includes Starkville} who are not yet attending but have been accepted into college, focusing in the field of arts.  This can be theater, choral, music, applied art, graphic design or dance.  The application can be found here.
