SAAC AiPP Exhibit and Reception: Works by Sabrina Campbell

The Starkville Area Arts Council is excited to announce the next exhibit in the Art in Public Places (AiPP) series, a solo exhibit featuring works by on of our current Artist Fellows, Sabrina Campbell.

The hybrid exhibit will be on display from September 6 to October 3, 2022, in the Partnership Lobby in Downtown Starkville and online on the SAAC website (www.starkvillearts.net/creativeeconomy).
 
Campbell's artwork celebrates diversity and covers various media including sculptures. Art is not only a form of creative release but also a valuable form of communication. She is an expert at Portraiture and Text Art. Campbell is the only Artist to receive Special Congressional Recognition for her artwork. She has artwork in the Capitol that will remain there for a lifetime.
 
Works displayed will range in media and mediums and include portraits, landscapes, sculptures using resin. Read more about Campbell's work on her website, www.sabrinasart88.com.

The exhibit will kick off with an opening reception on Tuesday, September 13, from 5:30-7 pm in the Greater Starkville Development Partnership lobby in downtown Starkville..
 
As part of SAAC’s AiPP series, works may be listed for sale. SAAC provides reception and publicity, handles the collecting and reporting of MS State Sales Taxes on behalf of the artist for any works sold while taking a substantially reduced commission (20% instead of 50% usually charged by galleries).
