Press ReleaseSTARKVILLE, MS -
It’s that time of year again! Forks & Corks 2019 highlights culinary arts in the Golden Triangle. This year’s event is set for August 24, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at The Mill in Starkville, MS. Regional chefs engage in a friendly competition for prizes and bragging rights, as attendees get to sample the best of the culinary arts that North Mississippi has to offer! The event will include music, ceramics, and a silent fundraising auction! “The culinary arts aren’t often highlighted as an art form, and SAAC is excited to continue expanding this fantastic fundraising event. Great food, fun entertainment, and a social, informal atmosphere makes this a fun night,” says Executive Director John W. Bateman. Funds raised will support SAAC and ongoing arts programming throughout the year. Tickets are available through Eventbrite and at www.starkvillearts.org. #starkvillearts #forksandcorks2019 About SAAC Now in its third decade, the Starkville Area Arts Council sponsors the Cotton District Arts Festival, runs various art education outreach programs throughout Starkville and Oktibbeha County in its mission to build a strong, creative, connected community through the arts.
