I am thrilled! Starkville Area Arts Council hosts and sponsors so many events every year, that it would be next to impossible for me to attend every single activity, workshop, and lecture throughout one year~~so I'm taking it in pieces and this year will be the first ever Everything Home & Garden Expo for me! *squeals like the lil piggy that went, "wee wee wee, all the way home & garden*
Main speaker, Melinda Myers, will take the proverbial stage at 11am on Friday to give us some tips on "Easy and Affordable Landscape Makeovers". She focuses on how to create the space you want, by changing your lawn's layout, adding some key plants, incorporating containers, and bringing the most out of your yard as possible.
Bring the children for some hands~on activities on Saturday. Also featured will be demonstrations, including the Handyman's Booth with Richard Vasek's "Sewing Machines & Other Home Repairs". What am I really looking forward to the most?
Saturday's 1:15 presentation on "Herbal Gifts from the Garden" by Dr. Leila Kelly. "All the things I could do, if I had a little money" ~ABBA~
