STARKVILLE, MS - The Starkville Area Arts Council is excited for the next Art in Public Places Exhibit, the annual Winter Showcase. The Exhibit will kick-off with a reception held at 5:30 on November 14, 2019, at the Greater Starkville Development Partnership in downtown Starkville. Featuring 18 talented artists and 40 works, the exhibit includes paintings, sculpture, photography, and more, inspired by the winter season.  Sky Marwa Safwat As part of SAAC’s AiPP series, works may be listed for sale. SAAC collects and pays sales taxes on behalf of the artist for any work sold, and the artist keeps 80% of the proceeds. This Exhibit will be on display until January 13 in the lobby of the Greater Starkville Development Partnership in downtown Starkville.
