Press ReleaseStarkville Area Arts Council is eager to announce the first Art in Public Places Exhibit of 2020 with a kick-off reception on Thursday, January 16 at 5:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Partnership in downtown Starkville. This Exhibit highlights the work of Starkville artist Gerard Woods and will run until March 2, 2020 As part of SAAC’s AiPP series, works are listed for sale. SAAC collects and pays sales taxes on behalf of the artist for any work sold, and the artist keeps 80% of the proceeds. Works will be on display in the lobby of the Greater Starkville Development Partnership in downtown Starkville.
