Jarmon - 36”x24”. I’ve always been interested in art- drawing and painting all my life. I enjoy different styles that can convey visual messages and interpretations. I received a Master’s degree and National Board Certification and have my art business Art by JNet. I’ve taught art in public and private schools and colleges including one in Kenya. I’ve also been Artist in Residence for a federal prison and taught art at Mississippi State Hospital,Whitfield, for the Rehabilitation Department. I’ve written and received grants on city, state and national levels. Some of the most fun has been leading students on large public mural projects. Besides commissions and creating my own works I sell prints of my works wholesale and retail. My studio is at my home on Tibbee Creek along with my Boathouse Gallery which is open by appointment.
