BUZZY’S ART CONTEST (2024-2025)
All Pre-K through 12th grade students enrolled in the Starkville Oktibbeha Country Public Schools are invited to submit work to the annual Buzzy’s Art Contest!
CATEGORIES:
Students are welcome to submit artwork in all four categories, but only ONE entry per category. Please see attached for detailed Judging Criteria Rubrics. Submissions will be judged via each grade level for grades Pre-K through 8th Grade. Starkville High School (9th–12th) entries will all be judged together. One overall Best of Show for each school is awarded in every category. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

DEADLINE to Submit Online: January 26, 2025
Judging will take place in February. The Buzzy’s Art Awards will be presented at the Greensboro Center during two different public ceremonies on Monday, March 4th at 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Images of all winning artwork will be proudly presented at the ceremony. Winners will be notified prior to this event.

- PHOTOGRAPHY
- 2D (Drawing, Painting, Collage, Mixed Media, or Digital Drawing)
- 3D (Sculpture in any material or Fiber/Textile)
